Funko first put their whimsical take on Kellogg’s beloved vintage characters in Fall 2017 when they memorialized Tony the Tiger as a four-inch styled POP! vinyl figure. The initial limited edition release sold out in hours. Since then Funko has continued to roll out their interpretations of America’s favorite morning time characters with the release of POP! and Vnyl figurines of Toucan Sam, Tony The Tiger and Dig’em.
Now Kellogg’s is continuing its successful brand licensing partnership wth Funko with the introduction of new collectible figures that will be introduced through the end of 2018. New introductions will include:
- Tony The Tiger and Dig’em Vynl figures, which will be sold as a two pack, as well as a Tony Pop! fleece blanket exclusively at Target stores.
- A Rice Krispies Snap, Crackle and Pop three pack POP! figurine set available only on Funko.com.
- A Tony POP! and Tony POP! tee set as well as a Toucan Sam POP! and Toucan POP! Tee set are also planned to be released exclusively online.
- A Dig ‘em POP! Figure.
The Kellogg’s brand licensing program includes 20 licensees and products ranging from tabletop, kitchen storage, apparel, accessories and gift products featuring graphics of the most iconic Kellogg’s characters including Tony the Tiger, Toucan Sam and Snap, Crackle and Pop.
