The Joester Loria Group and Entenmann’s Wish a Happy Valentine’s Day To All

In light of this sweet couple and the approaching Valentine’s Day holiday, we thought it fitting to share one of our favorite pairings: Entenmann’s new 12 cup heart shaped bakeware and a delicious recipe from Entenmann’s Big Book of Baking!
Entenmann’s launched the new 12 Cup Heart Pan at more than 600 retail doors, including Acme, CUB Foods, Farm Fresh, Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Supervalu, and Shaw’s just in time for Valentine’s Day. This festive bakeware from partner EuroWare by Durakleen retails for $7.99. A perfect recipe for this pan is the Double Chocolate Brownie recipe from Entenmann’s Big Book of Baking from Parragon Publishing.
Double Chocolate Brownies
From Entenmann’s Big Book of Baking
Makes 16 Brownies
Batter
1⁄2 cup (1 stick) butter
2⁄3 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
11⁄3 cups sugar
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1⁄2 cup white chocolate chips
Fudge sauce
4 tablespoons (1⁄2 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
2⁄3 cup whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
2⁄3 cup dark corn syrup
1 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Grease an 8-inch square cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
Place the butter and chocolate in a small heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water until melted. Stir until smooth. Let cool slightly. Stir in the sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring well, until blended.
Sift the flour and cocoa into the cake batter and beat until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is evenly colored and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost clean. Let cool slightly while you prepare the sauce.
To make the fudge sauce, place the butter, sugar, milk, cream, and corn syrup in a small saucepan and heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil and stir for 10 minutes, or until the mixture is caramel-colored. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate. Stir until smooth. Cut the brownies into squares and serve immediately with the sauce.
