The Joester Loria Group, exclusive global brand licensing agent for The World of Eric Carle, has brokered a deal to expand on the brand’s current licensing program with a special edition Very Hungry Caterpillar themed modular children’s play couch from Nugget.
In their first licensed collaboration with a global brand, Nugget, represented by Mix Licensing Group, has created a fun and whimsical design based on Eric Carle's sketches. The design is printed on Nugget’s highly sought-after configurable four-piece play couch, which is made up of four foam pieces covered in microsuede fabric. Beloved by kids and kids-at-heart, the Nugget provides endless playtime possibilities - from creating forts and building caves to lounging in your very own reading nook.
Part-furniture, part-toy, the Nugget is beloved by children for climbing, building, and play, while parents love its minimalist design that fits in seamlessly with any home decor.
“We are passionate about inspiring creativity and play. It’s an honor to be launching a Nugget inspired by such a beloved book as The Very Hungry Caterpillar which has captured the hearts and imaginations of so many little ones around the world,” remarks Hannah Elly, former educator turned Nugget Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Nugget.
"We’re thrilled to partner with Nugget", says Jackie DeMaio, Licensing Director, The Joester Loria Group. "The team has developed a beautiful play couch that captures the essence of Eric Carle’s art and helps to continue to promote creativity and curiosity for kids."
The exclusive Very Hungry Caterpillar Nugget will be available only at the Nugget Shop starting on November 8th.
