Pop-Tarts and Goodr Launch a Sweet New Collaboration

Pop-Tarts recently teamed up with Goodr, the sunglasses brand renowned for its Fun, Fashion, Function, and ‘Ffordability, to bring a delightful new twist to summer accessories. The Joester Loria Group, the brand licensing agency for Pop-Tarts, brokered this exciting collaboration. 

The limited-edition Pop-Tarts Sunnies, inspired by the colorful and delicious flavors of Pop-Tarts, were a huge hit and sold out within 24 hours! These fun and vibrant shades came with custom packaging inspired by the iconic Pop-Tarts box, complete with shiny foil pouches for that perfect nostalgic touch. Priced at just $60 for a two-pack, the sunglasses duo offered a blend of style and affordability, making them must-have accessories.

BioWorld and Franco to Launch Dog Man Apparel and Home Accessories

The Dog Man brand licensing program is growing with new partners in apparel, accessories and home textiles. Under license agreements brokered by The Joester Loria Group, BioWorld and Franco will create product lines inspired by Dav Pilkey’s best-selling Dog Man graphic novel series. BioWorld rights include kids' apparel, sleepwear, bags, backpacks, and lunch bags, while Franco will develop bedding, blankets, drapes, rugs, bath, and beach accessories. BioWorld and Franco join category leaders Jakks Pacific and University Games as Dog Man licensees.

Both collections will be on shelves in the fourth quarter of 2024, timed to coincide with the new Dog Man book and the Universal Pictures release of the animated Dog Man feature film, slated to open in theaters worldwide in January 2025.

With his trademark humor and heart, #1 bestselling author and award-winning illustrator Dav Pilkey, has made reading fun for kids with the Dog Man graphic novel series, which was launched by Scholastic in August 2016 and has sold more than 60 million copies in print and been translated into 47 languages. The latest title in the series, Dog Man: The Scarlet Shedder, published in March 2024, was the #1 bestselling book overall (children’s and adult books combined) in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and was the #1 bestselling children’s book in the U.K. Pilkey’s Cat Kid Comic Club series, a spin-off of Dog Man, launched in 2020 to critical acclaim and topped bestseller lists worldwide.

JLG at Licensing Expo 2024

The JLG team had another successful year at Licensing Expo!

We had an amazing time with a bustling booth filled with productive meetings, reconnecting with industry colleagues and friends, and an unforgettable happy hour! Additionally, JLG took home a Licensing Excellence Award in the Best Apparel, Accessories, or Footwear Product for Corporate Brands category for McDonald’s collaboration with Loungefly.

This year was extra special as JLG celebrated 25 years of licensing excellence! We are grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey with us.
