The Joester Loria Group is bringing together two unique brands, Miffy, a beloved children’s book character, and Ghostly International, a record label, apparel and accessories brand, for an exciting new collaboration. The world-renowned bunny created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna now appears on a limited-edition collection of unisex cotton t-shirts, hoodie and tote bag, available on Ghostly.com, with prices ranging from $21 to $60.
“We’ve always admired the brand and, in many ways, have modeled our approach to art and artifice with Miffy’s spirit in mind,” said Samuel Valenti IV, Ghostly founder. “For Ghostly’s first ten years, we had our own illustrated mascot, Michael Segal’s BoyCatBird, who lived in comic strips, music videos, even toys. It now feels like we’re coming full circle in working with a founding inspiration and one of the great characters of the modern era.”
Capturing the simple and playful aesthetic of both brands, the capsule collection features iconic designs by Dick Bruna with a Ghostly spirit/ The exclusive line also celebrates Ghostly’s 20th anniversary.
JLG was appointed as the North American brand licensing agency for Miffy earlier this year and we are currently gearing up to help the brand celebrate its 65th anniversary in 2020 with a full licensing program.
