Earlier this month top brands and buyers gathered at The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, where a comprehensive collection of the latest home decor, furniture and gifts was showcased.
Gifts and Decorative Accessories Magazine shared some of the biggest trends that emerged during the show including:
A coastal color palette and motifs like mermaids and sea life.
The rising popularity of neutral tones and metallics across categories like stationery, jewelry and candles.
The use of mixed materials including leather accents and ceramic and wood combinations.
Home goods and gifts that are taking cues from the athleisure trend in the fashion industry.
Food and drink themed holiday gifts.
Additionally, Home Accents Today spoke to buyers at the show and got their feedback on the biggest takeaways from the show. Many buyers said they were excited to consider new categories and they also were enthusiastic about the neutral color palettes and mixed-material products that were so prevalent at the show.
The home decor and gift categories are an important piece of several of the brand licensing programs The Joester Loria Group has developed for a variety of clients. Recently, The Joester Loria Group brokered a licensing deal for bedding from Jockey and expanded the Entenmann’s lines of candles and bakeware.
