After making its London debut at the Ambassador Theatre in the West End last year, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show is returning to London to rave reviews. The show is running from now until January 2018 and is based on four magical Eric Carle books: The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse and The Very Lonely Firefly. Time Out London recently called the show “a pure, kid-quelling joy,” with “plenty of colourful puppets, dancing and music to entrance youngsters.”
In addition to the London production, the critically-acclaimed show has been performed around the world with productions in New York, Dallas, San Francisco, Australia, along with touring productions in the U.S. and the UK. The show, created by Jonathan Rockefeller, features 75 colorful puppets inspired by the colorful collage-style artwork in Eric Carle’s timeless stories.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show is just one way The Joester Loria Group has extended The World of Eric Carle brand. As the exclusive brand licensing agency for The World of Eric Carle, JLG has paired the brand with more than 135 licensees and promotional partners.
