The Joester Loria Group has brokered a brand licensing deal with specialty retailer Uniqlo to include Kellogg’s vintage characters in a new collection of graphic t-shirts. The casual-wear retailer operates more than 1800 stores in 19 countries around the world.
The Brands: Characters, the latest collection of graphic t-shirts for men by Uniqlo, features iconic brand mascots from around the world and is available through August in Uniqlo stores and on uniqlo.com. Uniqlo selected four vintage characters from Kellogg’s extensive archives, which span more than 100 years. Frosted Flakes’ Tony the Tiger, Froot Loops’ Toucan Sam, Coco Pops’ Coco and Sugar Smacks’ Smaxey were chosen as the most memorable vintage mascots from Kellogg’s popular cereal brands.
The Joester Loria Group has created a variety of brand extensions featuring retro Kellogg’s graphics. Kellogg’s characters Tony the Tiger, Toucan Sam and Snap, Crackle and Pop are featured on tabletop, apparel and lifestyle products, which are available at both specialty retailers and online accounts.
