JLG Expands The World of Eric Carle in Australia

As the global brand licensing agency for The World of Eric Carle, The Joester Loria Group and its partners continue to expand the brand around the world.

In Australia, The World of Eric Carle continues to grow its multi-category infant program at Big W with the launch of a new apparel collection. Big W has supported the World of Eric Carle since Spring 2017 and this will be the third collection to launch at this Australian retail giant. The collection utilizes Carle’s vibrant artwork to create an on-trend line for newborns and infants that includes layettes, playwear and more. The range is supported with in-store signage, catalog placement, strategic social media posts and influential mommy blogger features.

The Joester Loria Group has extended The World of Eric Carle brand through a robust brand licensing program inspired by Carle’s timeless works, which spans more than 130 consumer products, licensees and promotional partners in more than 13 countries.

JLG Expands The World of Eric Carle Program with Nature Exploration Kits

World of Eric Carle Insect Lore Brand Licensing Hungry Caterpillar

The Joester Loria Group has brokered a new brand licensing deal for their client, The World of Eric Carle, to expand on their current program with nature exploration kits from Insect Lore for the U.S. and Canada.

Insect Lore will create a co-branded collection of caterpillar and ladybug life cycle kits and nature kits including bug catchers, bug magnifying viewers, and insect habitats for the World of Eric Carle brand, expanding on the nature themes found in Eric Carle’s popular books, including The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Grouchy Ladybug.  Insect Lore’s World of Eric Carle collection will be introduced in Spring 2018 at specialty retailers, Amazon, and InsectLore.com, along with educational networks.

Insect Lore specializes in innovative educational products for young learners and their signature Live Butterfly Kits have brought science to life in countless classrooms over the years. Their goal is to give children a friendly, hands-on introduction to insect metamorphosis, entomology and life-cycle learning.

The World of Eric Carle is the award-winning publishing franchise that features timeless stories and iconic characters. With 144 million books sold, the brand has been a staple in schools, libraries and homes around the world for over three generations. The global consumer products program has experienced exceptional growth in more than 45,000 retail doors in 15+ countries and includes partnerships with more than 150 licensees across a wide range of categories.

The World of Eric Carle Partners With Produce For Kids

Very Hungry Caterpillar Produce For Kids

The Joester Loria Group’s client The World of Eric Carle is once again partnering with Produce For Kids for their Power Your Lunchbox Pledge for the back-to-school season.

The 4th Power Your Lunchbox Pledge kicks off on August 7 to encourage families and classrooms nationwide to pledge to eat a healthier lunch this school year. For every pledge taken, partners will make a collective $1 donation to Feeding America®, providing 11 meals to families in need.  

As part of the program, Produce for Kids will feature a variety of recipes inspired by Eric Carle’s iconic books including a Brown Bear Bento Box, Panda Bear Rice & Beans, a Very Hungry Caterpillar Snack, The Grouchy Ladybug Snack, Mixed Up Chameleon Trail Mix and a Very Busy Spider Snack.

Produce For Kids will also publish two blog posts inspired by Pancakes, Pancakes and The Tiny Seed.  Additionally, every day between August 7 and September 22, Produce for Kids will give away a popular Eric Carle book to an individual who takes the pledge.

The World of Eric Carle will also partner with Produce for Kids for the #PowerYourLunchbox Twitter party on August 17 at 4pm EST. Produce for Kids will share easy and healthy Eric Carle-inspired back-to-school recipes and lunchbox ideas, along with giveaways of Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear and Ladybug lunch bags from brand licensing partner Kids Preferred.

In addition, elementary and preschool classrooms who take the pledge will be entered to win an Eric Carle reading nook for their classroom. Teachers can access World of Eric Carle and Produce for Kids themed activities and lesson plans at poweryourlunchbox.com/teachers.
