JLG Teams McDonald’s with Diamond Supply Co. For Space Jam: A New Legacy Collection

In a new brand licensing deal brokered by JLG, McDonald’s is teaming up with Diamond Supply Co. for a collection of jerseys, shorts, sweatshirts and more, all inspired by Space: A New Legacy and the Toon-Squad. The collaboration is the latest chapter in McDonald’s 25-year Space Jam legacy, dating back to when the brand released its now iconic collectible Happy Meal toys inspired by the original Space Jam movie.

The collaboration will drop exclusively on DiamondSupplyCo.com and at Diamond Supply’s flagship store in Los Angeles on July 3. The new line puts a Golden Arches twist on sports and loungewear staples that all feature Space Jam: A New Legacy characters like Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny and Taz. Key pieces include a classic-cut jersey and matching basketball shorts, as well as t-shirts and sweatshirts.

The new collection is already highly anticipated and was recently featured by Hypebeast and Complex among others. Space Jam: A New Legacy will be released in theaters globally beginning in July, and in the U.S. in theaters and on HBO Max on July 16, 2021.

The World of Eric Partners with London and Bronx Zoos for Summer Fun

WECZooPartnerships.png

The Joester Loria Group is bringing The World of Eric Carle to two of the world’s leading zoos with brand partnerships with the ZSL London Zoo and The Bronx Zoo for multi-week children’s events this summer.

With events that kicked off May 29th, the ZSL London Zoo is bringing children’s classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life with a series of fun activities celebrating the famous picture book and its ravenous, wriggly hero.   Running May 29th to July 16th, visitors will be able to step inside the caterpillar’s miniature world, during a packed few months of covid-safe interactive family events inspired by the popular character.

Children can gather round a giant butterfly egg for outdoor storytelling sessions, before meeting The Very Hungry Caterpillar himself to gather tips for tackling their very own food challenge:  a journey through a supersized forest of giant fruit and vegetables, obstacle-course style, to metamorphosize into beautiful butterflies.  Along the way they’ll meet The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s famous friends, The Bad-Tempered Ladybird, The Very Tiny Cricket and The Very Busy Spider – learning about the importance of wildlife through a series of fun activities, including seed planting in the zoo’s new Wildlife Garden.

On the other side of the pond, The Bronx Zoo will kick off Eric Carle’s World of Wildlife, a eight-week immersive program, on July 5. Every  Friday, Saturday and Sunday,  Eric Carle’s timeless books will come off the pages with live performances, music, games, and other activities. Carle’s iconic characters from popular titles including The Very Hungry Caterpillar; Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?; The Very Busy Spider; and The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse will be recreated as hand-crafted puppets that will headline daily performances on weekends. These colorful creations will be available for meet and greet/photo-opportunities after each show. The special performances are interactive and include professional puppetry, games, music, dancing, and other activities. Each features a different story and will bring families and friends through an imaginary journey through the classic books.

In addition, the Bronx Zoo’s Wildlife Theater will feature performances on Mondays through Thursdays, during the same 8-week period. These performances and activities will connect participants with elements of the nature themes from Eric Carle’s famous books. Guests will learn about the migration of the monarch butterfly; watch a theatrical reading and play games about brown bears; and sing along with performers to learn about the importance of spiders and insects.

The Joester Loria Group is the global brand licensing agency for The World of Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar and works with its local representative, Rocket Licensing, in the UK.
