Cotton Citizen and Pepsi have partnered to create a 15 piece capsule collection for men and women, through a deal brokered by Pepsi’s exclusive brand licensing agent, The Joester Loria Group. The collection is inspired by Pepsi’s iconic advertising campaigns from the 90’s and includes 90’s inspired basics that feel softened and faded by the California sun.
The Cotton Citizen X Pepsi capsule features Cotton Citizen’s best-selling silhouettes like the men’s Cobain Hoodie, women’s Milan Crop Zip Hoodie, and all-new denim styles, in custom washes inspired by Pepsi’s iconic colors. Each piece is hand-dyed and hand-distressed in Cotton Citizen’s family-owned and operated factory in Los Angeles.
Every wash and color has been custom developed and mixed by Cotton Citizen’s Founder and Creative Director, Adam Vanunu, at his dye house in Los Angeles. Vanunu carefully constructed a color palette for the Cotton Citizen X Pepsi collaboration collection to reflect Pepsi’s iconic Americana aesthetic and appeal.
“Pepsi is one of the most iconic American brands in existence and is so distinctive to American culture,” says Vanunu. “Especially growing up in the nineties, Pepsi created some memorable moments that still inspire me. We’re excited to continue telling the Pepsi story through the special dyes and treatments we developed exclusively for this collaboration collection.”
The Cotton Citizen X Pepsi capsule collection launched on November 18th and will be available exclusively at the Melrose Place Cotton Citizen flagship location in Los Angeles before hitting select retailers.
