An exhibit inspired by the works of Eric Carle recently debuted at Setagaya Art Museum in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. Carle himself was on hand for a signing session on the opening day of the exhibit.
The show focuses on prominent themes from Carle’s work including nature, animals and educational topics like numbers, dates and the changing of the seasons. It also features some of Carle’s original drawings. Additionally, the exhibit explores Carle’s life and his relationship to Japan. “The Art of Eric Carle” exhibition will run through July 2.
