JLG recently partnered with Licensing International and their Young Professional Network to host an in-person event to share insights on successful brand licensing collaborations for food and beverage brands. Licensing International’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) is designed to help brand licensing professionals under 35 expand their skills and network through educational and social events. 

During the event James Slifer and Michael Almeida, Managing Directors for JLG, shared case studies about some of JLG’s most successful food and beverage collaborations including our work with our clients McDonald’s, PepsiCo, and Constellation Brands, among others.

JLG Programs Nominated For Nine 2023 Licensing Excellence Awards

JLG’s work with several of our clients has been nominated for Licensing Excellence Awards across nine categories. Congratulations to our clients and partners on this exciting recognition! 

More details about the nominations are below. 

The World of Eric Carle is up for three awards for its partnerships with Bombas and Ella’s Kitchen along with a nomination for best brand. 

Kellogg’s is also a finalist in three categories with nominations for several collaborations including Frosted Flakes x Puma, Kellogg’s Froot Loops consumables as well as the brand’s NFT launch with Funko.  

McDonald’s collaboration with Snipes EU is a finalist in the Best Retailer: Corporate, Lifestyle, Fashion, Sports Category. 

Pacifico’s sustainable apparel line in collaboration with Quiksilver is a finalist in the Best Sustainability Initiative category. 

Aeropostle’s collection of Cheetos inspired apparel is nominated in the Best Retailer: Corporate, Lifestyle, Fashion, Sports category.

This year’s finalists were selected from more than 850 submissions. The winners will be announced at The Licensing Excellence Awards ceremony the night before Licensing Expo on June 12.

In this creative partnership, See Kai Run is launching four new kids’ shoes as part of its successful Very Hungry Caterpillar collection, just in time for families to gear up for all their summer adventures. This partnership was brokered by JLG, the global brand licensing agency for The World of Eric Carle. 

The third collection in partnership between the two brands, the Spring Summer '23 Very Hungry Caterpillar Collection features two sneakers and two water-friendly sandals, all showcasing the delightful illustrations of author Eric Carle. The See Kai Run + The Very Hungry Caterpillar spring/summer ’23 collection launched on April 17 and is available, while supply lasts, at seekairun.com, amazon.com and zappos.com as well as select independent shoe stores, with retail prices starting at $48.
