Corona Extra’s Tin Serving Ware Collection Brings The Beach Home

Corona Extra Logo Brand Licensing.jpg

Constellation Brands, the leading beer importer in the U.S., has tapped The Tin Box Company for Corona Extra tin products. Tin Box is a category leader in a variety of tin table-top and serving ware. They will introduce a Corona Extra collection that includes beer trays, utensil caddies, party tubs, salt and pepper sets and more, to launch at retail in 2020.

On working with Corona, Lloyd Roth, President of The Tin Box Company says, “We are very excited to add this classic brand to our current product line. We believe Corona will fit perfectly with our line of serving-ware. It’s a natural fit for consumers to be able to use during the summer both at home and at the beach.”

As the brand licensing agency for Constellation Brands’ beer portfolio, JLG has extended the Corona and Modelo brands through recent deals including Modelo’s collaboration with Slowtide and Corona’s Cinco de Mayo collection at Spencer’s.

This exciting new brand extension for Corona Extra was recently featured by License Global.

Corona Launches “Summer Vibes” Campaign

Corona Extra Summer Can Brand Licensing

JLG’s client Corona is highlighting its brand DNA with its first-ever, limited-edition can design for Corona Extra. The new “Summer Beach” can launched in early May and will be available throughout the summer, while supplies last. The new design is part of a marketing campaign targeting a millennial demographic.

This limited-edition design follows a successful can redesign in 2015, which helped Corona double its can sales. The limited edition cans will be supported with a new “Summer Vibes” TV spot in the US market, a dedicated social media campaign, marketing partnerships with music-streaming service Spotify,  point-of-sale activities as well as managed bar nights.

As the brand licensing agency for Constellation Brands’ beer portfolio, The Joester Loria Group is extending Corona’s “Summer Vibes” campaign with a new thermoelectric cooler featuring the limited-edition artwork in partnership with licensee Koolatron.

Corona Extra’s new can design has been featured by Chilled, The Drinks Report, and Grocery Headquarters.
