Dena Designs’ QVC Debut

Dena Designs QVC Brand Licensing Agency

The Joester Loria Group’s client Dena Designs recently debuted her extensive range of handbags, small accessories, carry-on luggage and travel bags on QVC May 19th, with key pieces selling out within minutes. The collection was sold individually as well as in sets, and blends Dena’s signature hand-painted florals with intricate patterns and modern geometrics.

Dena collection bags feature hand-painted designs created personally by Dena, which are applied to effortless silhouettes with great commercial appeal. Additionally, each piece uniquely offers a 'gift' with each purchase as most styles come with a coordinating wallet, cell phone holder, key fob or personal pouch. The collection is crafted in elevated coated canvas with genuine leather and/ or suede trims with retail prices ranging between $50 - $175.

Dena's next show will air on August 7th on QVC.

As the brand licensing agency for Dena Designs & Happi by Dena, The Joester Loria Group has expanded the brand into a variety of categories including home decor and accessories, gifts and stationery among others.

JLG at ABC Kids Expo

ABC Kids Expo Brand Licensing

Last week more than 1,000 exhibitors showcased the latest specialty children’s products at the ABC Kids Expo trade show in Las Vegas. More than 12,000 attendees including retailers, children’s products manufacturers and distributors, media and other industry representatives gathered at the show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. JLG clients The World of Eric Carle and happi by Dena were both represented at the show. 

The World of Eric Carle, the award winning publishing franchise with 138 million books sold, promotes the joys of playful learning through timeless stories and vibrant artwork featuring Very Hungry Caterpillar and Friends.  Several World of Eric Carle licensing partners, including Kids Preferred, Creative Baby, Oopsy Daisy Fine Art and Bottle Pets, exhibited at the event. 

Kids Preferred, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of plush toys and gifts, debuted a new line of preschool toys and crafts from The World of Eric Carle™.  The collection features a variety of colors, activities and adventures for little learners. The new toys encourage babies and toddlers to explore the world around them through Carle’s kaleidoscope of color and texture.

Additionally, other World of Eric Carle brand licensing partners showcased an array of brand extensions featuring the much-loved The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other iconic characters from Carle’s beloved books.  Creative Baby displayed a new foam table and chair set with interactivity and also showcased floor jumpers, walkers and high chairs.  Oopsy Daisy Fine Art showcased canvas wall art and night lights, while Bottle Pets highlighted a line of baby bottle covers and plush infant pacifiers. Bottle Pets are unique, patented plush baby bottle covers that help babies learn to hold the bottle, ease the transition to and from bottle-feeding and help develop early hand-eye coordination.

Brand licensing partner Lambs & Ivy highlighted their growing infant bedding program for happi by Dena by showcasing two new collections.  In addition, CR Gibson debuted a new collection of infant gift and keepsakes for Spring 2017 consisting of memory/keepsake books, scrapbooks, photo frames and photo albums.

As one of the premier showcases for children’s specialty products, ABC Kids Expo provided the perfect opportunity to promote the latest brand extensions from JLG clients happi by Dena and The World of Eric Carle.

New Brand Licensing Deals for happi by Dena

The Joester Loria Group continues to extend happi by Dena, the award-winning children’s brand that celebrates the joy of childhood with colorful, exquisite designs by Dena. Newly licensed products including gifts, books and keepsakes, will build on the brand’s success in textiles, social expressions, infant bedding and room decor. Licensing partners include CR Gibson, Hallmark, Lambs & Ivy, Creative Converting and Checks in the Mail.

Launching next spring, CR Gibson will develop a happi by Dena collection of first-year calendars, memory/keepsake books, scrapbooks and scrapbook kits, hand/footprints kits, photo frames, photo albums, growth charts, keepsake/trinket boxes and melamine dinnerware sets; with prices ranging from $10 to $42.

Lambs & Ivy will grow its current happi by Dena offering with new bedding collections, room accessories, blankets and plush; with retail prices ranging from $17.99 to $149.99.  Buy Buy Baby, Baby Depot, and online retailers including Amazon and Baby Supermall will carry the new Lambs & Ivy products. Lamb’s & Ivy’s happi by Dena Olivia bedding collection launched exclusively in more than 245 Babies “R” Us stores and online in May. The new bedding features an orchid, eggplant, violet and aqua color palette with medallion, feather and geometric patterns.  

Additionally, Checks in the Mail also renewed its partnership with happi by Dena and will launch three new check collections this fall.
